Bath 29

Every year on the night of August 29 groups of people assemble on the Algarve seafront to

celebrate the tradition of Banho 29 (portuguese name).

There are those who believe it to a legend that the devil walks free on the day of August 29

and only at night-time is it safe to bathe in the sea.

Praia do Beliche

The beach of Beliche is located in the vicinity of Cape St Vincent and the beach of Tonel.

Access is by a long staircase. Is a very quiet beach and visited by surfers.
